What is the Windsor Wellness Partnership?
The Windsor Wellness Partnership (WWP) is a collective of community members and organizational representatives, working together to make Windsor a healthier community. We address key social, economic, and environmental drivers of health and well-being for all Windsor residents.
WWP is all about working together to make Windsor a healthier community. The partnership's approach is to engage residents in the processes of change, especially residents facing the most challenges in their lives.
Our operations are headed up by the WWP Coordinator and overseen by a Steering Committee. We hold quarterly meetings that everyone is invited to attend.
Our community partners are organizations (private, for-profit, not-for-profit, governmental) that have a working relationship with the WWP in one of its designated or future Focus Areas.
In 2017, WWP, Sonoma Strong Healing Fairs, Rosa Reynoza, Diana Borges, and Cherri Pedrioli were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by the Town of Windsor for holding a healing fair.
Community Partners and You!
The Windsor Wellness Partnership (WWP) was formed as the result of a healthcare assessment conducted in Windsor that supported existing efforts to supply information and resources to residents, with an emphasis on family-oriented prevention and wellness programs. In 2011 the WWP became the first local “chapter” of Sonoma County Health Action. Since then seven other chapters have formed.
WWP hosts and co-hosts events in Windsor. Some of our past events include Earth Day and Wellness Festivals, Windsor's Health + Wellness Festival, healing fairs, and cooking demos.
The most important resource of the WWP is the resident participants. Input and involvement of local community members guides our efforts. Only YOU know what is most needed for Windsor to thrive.
